- New two-day format: for the first time, the Port Entrepreneurship International Congress takes place across two complementary days: the PEIC Resilience Forum on October 20 and the plenary session on October 21
- Applications open until July 13 for startups, scale-ups and tech SMEs with solutions in port resilience, blue economy, supply chain efficiency or energy transition
Valencia, June 18, 2026.- Opentop, the innovation hub of Fundación Valenciaport, officially launches the call for startups, scale-ups and tech SMEs wishing to participate in the fourth edition of the Port Entrepreneurship International Congress (PEIC), taking place on October 20 and 21, 2026, in Valencia, Spain.
A new format: two days, more opportunities
The main new development of the fourth edition is the introduction of the PEIC Resilience Forum, an event taking place on October 20 at the premises of the Port Authority of Valencia, dedicated entirely to port resilience. Organized by Opentop and developed with the methodology and experience of 300 Maritime Ventures Program, the PEIC Resilience Forum is a high-level gathering with an intensive matchmaking format designed to connect the most innovative startups in port resilience with innovation leaders from international port authorities, maritime corporations and investors.
The following day, October 21, the PEIC plenary session takes place at the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, within the framework of the Valencia Digital Summit (VDS), one of Europe’s leading technology gatherings. Building on the format established across the three previous editions, the day combines thematic sessions where selected startups present their solutions alongside industry experts, live demos, keynotes, and the PEIC Awards ceremony, where the audience votes for their favorite innovation.
The themes shaping the PEIC 2026 program are: port resilience, safety and security; sustainability, decarbonisation and energy transition; supply chain efficiency; and blue economy.
An open call for international innovation
The call aims to select innovative technology companies with international scaling potential and the capacity to contribute transformative solutions to the challenges of the port and logistics sector. The application period is open until Monday, July 13, 2026. Applications can be submitted at https://www.opentop.es/es/ For enquiries: hello@opentop.es

About the ‘300 Maritime Venture’ program
300 Maritime is a year-round venture program connecting maritime startups with corporates and investors through a series of focused, in-person editions held in major maritime hubs across Europe and beyond. For each edition, the program identifies up to 300 high-potential startups within a defined maritime theme, and corporate and investor partners help select the 12 most ready to close real commercial deals. Beyond the events themselves, a continuous member network keeps deal flow active between editions, ensuring startups, corporates, and investors stay connected year-round.
